04/10/2013 - A Big Journey Cut too Short

Less than one minute read time.

My mum passed away on the 2nd October at around 7pm.

It was an awful day. I got up and went to work as usual whilst dad was still at the hospital. He texted me in the morning to tell me that she was up in bed and talking. Which she was doing when I left her the day/night/I have no idea anymore before. She was making jokes and being sarcastic as usual.

I went to work and got on with my day and felt good enough to

Actually I cant do this right now Ill finish this another time. Sorry guys, I hope you're all well. xxx

    Hi Becky,

I'm so sorry to hear this news. It's understandable that you don't feel up to writing any more at the moment.

This site is always here for you if you there does come a point where it would help to be able to write about it. We have a group on the site for bereaved friends and families, where people who've lost loved ones to cancer can get together and support each other.

The Macmillan Support Line is also there for you on freephone 0808 808 0000, if you need to talk.

    Take care of yourself,

    Priscilla

I've been there too. I understand what you're going through. You've got friends here whenever you need them.
