3rd dance with germ cell cancer

    Well after last weeks joy of finding out that my germ cell cancer hd a chance to be cured, ok a slim one with with surgery to my lungs, but still a chance

    Now usually when the royal marsden refer me to the brompton in the chance of a cure they are quick and swift, this time no news apart from a reply from my surgeons secretary that they recieved the letter and had ask for images,which is the usual polite way of saying…

    I a bit confused wether to rename this blog , the confusion being is there is a suspect image in my left lung which may be cancerours or scar tissue from the operation in October,

    if by a miracle it is scar tissue and i only need one final operation to my right lung then all good then the name of the blog is correct and it is a third dance with germ cell cancer,

     

    but if its new, which is really worring ,is it a 4th dance…

    Well managed to get a holiday over xmas just, gee is post cancer travel insurance a rip off,

    but back to the marsden friday for scan results

    one confirmec nodule on right lung, can be operated,

    but one on left that probably needs operating as well

    so two more lungs ops, but its still with intent to cure, so hopefully by april i mat be happy and disease free

    my initial reaction was not to post this, but i decided to submit a post just to bring a close to my blogs just in case anyone wonders.

    july 2012 18x10 cm abdominal tumour , smaller growths in chest and lung, damaged left kidney

    july  2012 - Nov 2012  4 weeks cbop,  9 weeks bep

    feb 2013   - left kidney removal ,rplnd surgey

    april 2013 - july 2013…

    well im afraid i given up hope of not being given a terminal verdict next week, yes i know i thought these thought before but mainly because my consultant was forever telling me in september that i was in a very horrible position after the failure of HDC.

    i had the lung operation on the 10 th of October and very soon i will have my first consultation concerning the results,

    i can't see it possible that i will get…
