I'm always amazed when the drs are surprised when you say your not looking forward to chemo
They always seem to say don't you want it?

Absolutely spot on, Damon. A number of doctors, mostly younger ones in my experience, don't fully grasp the psychology of the situation in which we find ourselves. None of us want to be here but we are, so don't just give us the facts and options as if we're choosing a new car, show a bit of humanity and understanding.
