Starting to dislike this hotel

Less than one minute read time.
Im starting to dislike this hotel, There is no pool here or pool bar, the staff are very keen for you not to leave your room. They seem to have picked up a policy of waking me up every hour during the night, mumbling something about hydration for stem cells, Just as i manage to get to sleep another breaks in we the mumbling about obvs Then one want to rank my arm and take blood, Finally its over i can get some sleep Nope , breakfast lady storms in with my tea and toast, better have it while its hot she shouts Then the shift change , and new set of nurses, so pill time Oh well the stem cells are here in their little freezer, They so better get this right

Damon I so know what you are talking about. I was In hospital nine day's and In all that time I hardly slept. phone's ringing night and day machine's beeping other patient's calling for assistance patient's needing treatment at 2am It drove me mad. and yes every hour  the "obs." I left hospital totally exhausted mentally and physically and totally water logged.

Oh Damon I feel for you bud. I know exactually what you mean. I was in 8 days, and the first 4 I was woken every 2hrs for obs and meds every 4hrs. I was knackered by the morning! Then as you say the breakfast lady came round forcing tea and porridge at you, and all you want to do is sleep!! My room was opposite the nurses station and it was like Picadilly Circus there. Not allowed to shut my door in case I fell ill (or something!!). But bless them. These hotel staff are doing their best for us, and for that I am very grateful. Even the breakfast lady :-). It was nice to get home though. Chin up bud. Sending you some sparkle to make that chemo do its job ;-) xx
