schrodinger's cat

Less than one minute read time.

Schrodingers cat seems to come up alot these days , mainly recently on the tv comedy serires the big bang theory,

i feel alot like that cat, i can be consiserered both terminal and curable untill the scan results are examined, two weeks ago i thought i had fallen into the curable opinion when my consultant informed me that i just had one tumor in my right lung which in his opinion could be surgically removed, what i didnt relise is that its the surgeon who decides whether surgery is a curative option, so vack to the nervouse waiting game

I feel for your anxiousness. I am going through that now. I have been diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma, aggressive, and the diagnosis was seconded by a respected authority at Yale Smilow Cancer center in Connecticut.

I have appointment with the Dr. who will actually be doing the treatments (They are pretty sure R-CHOP is the frontline. Although they initially felt R-Bendamustine was the way to go) and the details will be firmed up. Chemo port implantation, dates for chemo, ecg, etc.

I am somehow feeling a sense of calm as the final days approach. Waiting and thinking is my personal "monster under the bed."

And yes, I saw the episode of the Big Bang Theory, where Schrdingers cat was mentioned. I love that show !
