Is it just me

Less than one minute read time.
Or does everyone title change once they start chemo. When i come in as an out patient i either called by my first name or surname. But the minute i become a resident of the hospital and the chemo begins, i suddenly become a poppit, and spoken to like i,m a toddler, to be honest i imagine some people may like it,but. I find t very insulting , my name is on the door outside, they used to use it before they started pumping poison though my viens Im not a poppit, i dont need to to be tickled under the chin,nor am in their dear Just my rant

    Hey, sorry to hear you're having a frustrating time of it. Unfortunately it seems to be a cultural thing in wards and comes hand in hand with their constant need to force feed you cups of tea and make you sleep under dodgy looking blankets despite the fact the majority of the public sleep under duvets at home.

    They mean well, but that's no reason not to ask they call you by your name. Most people will respect your wishes, if not I suggest continuing to rant as much as you like! Lottie. xx
