Less than one minute read time.
Why does hair loss always get me, I mean its the third time i get to watch my hair come out it clumps,im also a bloke so hair loss is something ive always known will happen, yet it still gets to me, I know it grow back, but yet it bugs me I think its because its the only visible thing that reminds me i have cancer and im going though chemo.

    Damon:

I get what you're saying totally.

Women are luckier in some ways 'cos wigs on them are less obvious somehow - I hardly ever went out without one 'cos I didn't want pity from strangers.

    Hang in there.

When I was diagnosed and told I would have chemo, my first question was, will I lose my hair! My second question was, can I still drink wine!! And my third question, which of course should have been the first, will I get better! Strange how your brain puts things in order of priority!! All I could think was if I lost my hair everyone would know I had cancer, and that made it real, and like Pam I didnt want pity. However, I didn't lose my hair, I did drink wine for a while, then everything made me sick anyway so I stopped! And so far I am in remission. Hang on in there bud. Look forward to the growing back :-) keep strong x
