3 weeks post surgery

Less than one minute read time.

Here I am 3 weeks post serous endometrial cancer surgery, met with oncologist yesterday to discuss chemo and why do I feel worse today than since coming home 10 days ago. Heavy meeting yesterday really wiped me out and I'm now really achy and don't know if that's normal. Scar seems OK but various other parts where womb, tubes etc have bern removed seemed to have woken up !  6 rounds of7 hours of chemo and immunotherapy every 3 weeks is very daunting- any help or advice appreciated

  • Hi

I'm Steph, part of the team who look after the Online Community.

I was sorry to read that you're feeling so rough. It's positive that you've reached out for some support from the Community.

Some people find it can help to start a blog to diarise and share your experiences. When you're looking for some support, the forums are usually the best place to post, as not everyone will see your blog.

Would you like us to move your blog post over into the Womb cancer forum so members can offer you some support?

You would be welcome to keep adding to the blog if you would like to, or we can close this down if you're not planning on blogging and would prefer to chat in the forums.

We also have a Macmillan Support Line if you would like to talk things through with someone who is there to listen.  Our Support Line teams are available 7 days a week, 8am-8pm on freephone 0808 808 00 00email or live webchat.

Please do let us know if you have any questions or need further support with anything at all. I hope the Community helps to show you that you don’t have to go through cancer alone.
