I'm so glad it is going OK.  We sometimes forget that it is a cause for celebration.  Mine was fairly straightforward too, and was I grateful for that.

It is easier on the family if we can more or less cope with it.  Some people go off to work afterwards, but that would have been beyond me,  but could have done my normal job for the rest of the week.  If I had still got it.

How many treatments  are you having in a cycle?  I had seven cycles of 4 treatments, plus 2 treatments.

I hope your scans go as well as your chemo has.

So glad that you are coming to the end of your chemo Ironlung.  Every positive thing has to be celebrated!  Good luck with the scans etc. Will be thinking of you.

Hi, I have just joined this site and reading what you have written is like reliving my own experience. I had my left lung removed , 4 courses of chemo but I did have a horrendous time with it from day 1.

However 18 moths later and I am as fit and healthy as I was before my op. The only thing that I cannot do is climb Everest but i never wanted to do that anyway. I go on 5-6 mile hikes, I party, I take numerous holidays and I am grateful for every day that I am here.

It will get better and the fear does diminish until check up times.

Good luck and look forward to the future, I hope your chemo stays as good as it is now.
