Following chemotherapy for secondary breast cancer in my bones, I am in the middle of 4 cycles of Zometa infusions and am suffering quite severe pain in my lower back and hips. The pain is being countered to some extent by pain relief but I am anxious to know if these side effects are common and how long after completion of the treatment are they likely to stop.
