‘Wellbeing round up – February” Written over an image of purple flowers in grass.

It seems like February has come around at lightning speed, and despite the dramatic weather of the last few weeks there do seem to me small hopeful signs of spring in the air. Today we have put together some amazing wellbeing tips and expressive thoughts that we have collected from the Community. So why not put the kettle on, settle down on the sofa and take a moment to look through our favourite wellbeing tips of the moment?

‘Imagine being in a room where you cannot reach the door, after each session of Chemotherapy that door gets closer, until in the. end you have opened that door and gone out of that room.' -

'My Motto throughout this journey:  One step at a time, One Day at a time.  Deal with whatever that day throws at you and move on.' -

'Love is the greatest gift you can receive and give, it is priceless.' -

'Writing my story has helped too, the biggest help is my sense of humour... keep positive, keep strong, sit with your partner first and just pour it all out! You will find it such a relief not to hide anything... you need a clear head and stress free as possible to stay determined.' -

'As odd as it sounds, you’ll need to carve time out for yourself as well...' - greg777

'Your children and husband are going to need a lot from you over the coming weeks and months, so carving space out for yourself is so important so you don’t burn out.' -

'An incurable cancer diagnosis can bring a lot of stress, confusion and many questions on all the family but talking with people who are on the same journey can help a lot.' -

'Ask anyone and everyone for help my love, accept all help offered and take care of yourself...' - Will6

'You’ve got this and before long the sun will shine for you again. I have always remembered something I was stood many years ago which is act or adapt. I’ve acted and now I’m adapting - you can too. Enjoy those lovely children, give your hubby a cuddle and breathe.' -

'My advice would be to set small achievable goals and don’t look to far into the future and place so much pressure on yourself to be “over it” ' -

‘If you can push yourself to go sit outside in the daylight for 5 -10 minutes, take a cup of tea and just enjoy all that is around you...' - WhatHappened

'or, if you can push yourself that little bit more.... go for a 10-minute walk (5 minutes there and 5 minutes back), you really will feel better for this.’ -

  • There is something powerful about writing down thoughts & feelings.

I keep 2 books, one is bright & colourful to record all my positive thoughts, happy times and all that I’m thankful for. The other is a black book I use to express all my anger, frustrations and dark times.

I am thankful for this day
. I’m here, breathing and living my best life. Not the life I’d planned or hoped for, but it's life, and there’s always something to be thankful for.
