Removing posts

Hello. Is it possible to delete myself and my posts please?

  • Hi Just be held

It’s Megan here from Macmillan’s Online Community team. Thank you for posting in the Technical Help section today, although I’m sorry to hear you’re wanting to leave the Online Community.

If you’d feel comfortable doing so, please could you tell us if there is a specific reason you want to leave the Community? We’d just like to be able to do everything we can to help you find the right support.

Before we action anything, we want to check that you wish for us to remove your Online Community account altogether, or if you are just needing some help with turning the notifications off whilst keeping your account open?

The reason we ask this as some members keep their account details should they ever need to access the Community in the future. That way you do not need to go through the sign-up process again.

For the time being, I’ve turned off any email notifications, so you should no longer receive these from the Community. If you’re sure that you want to leave, then please could you confirm your decision by emailing Community@macmillan.org.uk.

Please remember that alongside accessing support on the Community, the Macmillan Support Line has specialist teams on hand to provide emotional, practical and financial support, every day from 8am-8pm. You can call them on 0808 808 00 00, by email or use live webchat during these hours.

I hope the above information makes sense and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to let us know. We’re here to help members use the site and find the additional support they're looking for.

    Best wishes,

    Megan
