Well, PSA results are back and it's up again as expected, now at 3.80.
Further blood tests ordered to test my testosterone (I can tell them it's back without a test ) and liver and kidney function and a PSMA PET Scan is being ordered.
I will keep you all updated - I know now after 3.5 years why they call this a "journey"
Thank you all for your comments and good wishes and continued support across the entire Community.
Best wishes
Brian - Online Community Champion
Good Morning Worriedwife and Lorraine (BW)
Thank you both for being there. Yes the support from the entire Community has been fantastic and it makes me even more determined to get my PSA results down to zero!!
The longer I have been on this path (3.5 years) and the more I do the more I understand this cancer. The one thing I really believe in (apart from my team and my positive attitude) is support from others - I have it here, from my family and from all my friends and it's bloody fantastic.
Thank you both - your words are appreciated more than you know.
Brian xx

Good morning apprentice nerd . I know that you were prepared for this hiccup but it still comes as a disappointment for you, Lorraine and the family but also for us who have become part of the extended family. Keep hold of the fact that you are under one of the best cancer hospitals in the WORLD (no. 4) and I am sure that they will keep you on the curative pathway. Just as you are here for everyone else we are here for you on what I am sure is going to be a long and hopefully smooth journey.
Good Morning Alwayshope &Mace
Thank you both for the good wishes - the thing that has got to me most about having a raised PSA isn't the fact it's up - no that was expected - it's the fact I have to wait for a scan - I NEED to book flights for a holiday. As soon as I know what's going on and we have a plan - I hope to be off to the sunshine (although this morning has started bright in Lancashire and Lorraine has invited half the family for a BBQ later!).
Life goes on as normal - thanks ever so much for your support - it's very much appreciated.
Kind Regards - Brian.

Morning Brian, I'm sorry to hear your PSA is rising, even expecting it, it's a tough blow, and getting away is fab, works for me too, I will have everything crossed your new treatment plan is successful for you, as I really don't want to see you on the LWIC forum lol.
Eddie
Ha Ha - thanks Eddie eddiel
as I really don't want to see you on the LWIC forum lol.
No I am trying not to have to join that group!! (for those who don't know we have a group - Living with incurable cancer!)
I am quite happy (if happy is the right word) being a T3a Gleason 9 - I might be sitting on the fence but if I fall off I want to drop on the T3 side.
Your post did make me chuckle though!!
Thanks pal - that's made my morning!!
Kind Regards - Brian.
** Edit ** - I have just checked - you don't have your own Community Champion on your group - well let's keep it that way - I will stick with this lot thanks!! **

We do have the lovely Chelle "Chellisimo", who's a champion and pops in from time to time, but as she is on many many forums, her time is limited, I have been following this thread when I can, and congratulations on 4 grandkids, aren't they the best medicine,
Eddie
