I don't have the experience you're looking for but noticed that your post hadn't had any responses. Looking for information on hypertrophic pulmonary osteoarthropathy I've found this from Cancer Research for you. It would appear that it's very rare which is possibly why you haven't had a reply.

I tried searching this group for previous posts on the subject but only found one that was over 3 years old.

I think I was just trying to grasp at straws as to whether the symptoms have lead to an early diagnosis, I don't have any other lung cancer symptoms that would of taken me to the doctor and as my journey has only just started it will be a while before I know I expect.

Remaining positive let the fight begin.
