My daughters new man in her life told me about French green clay..it was used by the people of Chernobyl after the explosion..he found this out after traveling with a doctor from London.on the train home..I looked it up and found out it was so..used by many people in the nuclear trade..so I've sent for some today..just 9 quid ...supposedly 1 spoon in 8ounces of water stirred with a wooden spoon..not metallic drink the next day....if the Chernobyl workers were given it..that's good enough for me..going to try it out.. detoxification does no harm...xx
Ihi hun..i really think that if the medical profession fed the powder version to the Chernobyl workers might be something in it..its not going to harm me so think I'll give it a go..hope you ok hun..xxprayers for us all..xx
in all seriousness please be careful. make sure it can not harm you while your radiography is still working. take care
Maggie
Darlo is very right to warn you to be careful.
Macmillan do have guidelines for discussing 'alternative medicine' and 'complementary medicines' as it can be confusing and could cause people to believe that they refuse their conventional medicine in favour of, or it could hinder their progress. Which can happen when you are new to this and would like to clutch at al sorts of straws and we have a raft of new members at the moment,
Just think, the NHS could save them saves a fortune on scans, radiotherapy and chemotherapy and just open up a French green leaf stand and give everyone a drink on their way through.
complimentary and alternative medicines guidance
Ok I’m not the brightest but I am worried about this .....,.
Wasn't Chernobyl a radiation disaster, so if they were fed Clay was that not to soak up the radiation effects? That’s not what you want to do Maggie. You need the radiation to do it’s thing.......
yes Chelle your right. what i have read says idea was for green clay to absorb the radiation the opposite of what our doctors are doing for us.
My name is Kate I am one of the nurses that work alongside the online community.
French green clay is not one of the alternative therapies I had heard of before. I have been unable to find any research to show that it is of any benefit in the use of cancer treatment or to help manage any of their side effects. Although there has been research that has looked at some of the healing properties it may have, especially antibacterial properties.
If you are having treatment it is always a good idea to discuss anything you are thinking about taking with your specialist. Many alternative therapies can interact with or stop some treatments from working as well, there is often no documentation of possible side effects they may cause.
Best wishes Kate
Thank you for your feedback kate..I don't intend stating until after my exray and speaking with my doctor.but was from an alternative practitioner that spoke of its benefits..not even for cancer.but for detoxification of the body..I will make sure to check it out with doc....
