Hello all
Just a quick note that may help others. I had tonsil cancer both sides and after 6 weeks RT one of the after effects is a very dry mouth as I have limited saliva. I have been looking at solutions to help so thought I would share. No doubt others have suggested but just in case....
I was hungry and decided to eat a banana. I noticed that my mouth is not so dry for about 30 to 45 minutes after eating it which I find a huge relief even for such a short period at least it's a respite and thought I would share to help others?

Hi Katietrop how are you feeling now? It sounds like our journeys are very similar, well done with your eating, I have to say it is definitely tough. My husband used to make me crushed banana with peanut butter mixed in milk if you find the banana too challenging. Give it a couple of weeks and then try the banana again. Good luck!
