Hi All, i have just ordered Polpolis liquid, the one recommended by Dani, My question is, how much and how  to take daily, as a general supplement?

Thanks Ray.

  • Twice daily us enough. Five drops in a glass of soft water. If you’re swallowing it take it at mealtimes. If you feel you don’t need the benefit of its mucosal healing the same outfit do capsules which is what I’ve added to my reflux armament. Let us know how it goes.

  • Thanks Dani, I'll let you how it goes.

    Ray.

  • Hi Ray. I take 5-6 drops in a morning before breakfast in 100 mil lukewarm water and same again at 7 pm ish .I’ve found it’s helped with my burning tongue and inside cheeks when I eat certain foods. Eg cheese and fermented foods.  Hope you’re well, scary where last 4 years have gone?

  • Hi Hazel, thanks for that. You're right about the time going so quickly, I'm due my last check up  in October. it is an up and down journey during recovery, although we are living proof you can come out the other side, which hopefully, gives those just starting out inspiration and hope.

  • Hi Hazel

Do you swallow it or use it as a mouthwash please?

    Thanks

  • Hi Blod I use it twice a day 5-6 drops in half a cup of lukewarm water I swish round my mouth then swallow  it but you can just rinse and spit . The added benefits to  swallow is it helps your immune system.
    Hope you’re ok Hazel xx

  • Thanks. Have just tried it as a mouthwash. Will swallow it next time.
I’m doing well thank you. Eating is much improved, some things are tricky but lots of water to aid swallowing helps. Just wish I could get rid if the horrible mouth taste (like a chemicsl/cleaning liquid taste) that is there all the time except when I’m eating. Scans came back as ‘treatment successful’ so am feeling more positive about life.
I am hugely thankful to you, Dani, Ray & everyone for their posts, advice & support on this site. It has been & continues to be a very important community that has helped me through some very dark times x

Hi Blod. I had the same for quite a while. It’s disheartening. I used to go away some times,  fed up with putting on a brave face for everyone, and have a little weep before kicking myself into gear again. I found chewing gum really helped long after the taste of the gum disappeared.
You’ll get there. It’s just bloomin difficult sometimes. We long for who we were and that’s a mistake I discovered pretty quickly. I am different but new, life is good and will be again for you. Xx

  • Hi Dani

Did the taste go away? Definitely agree that we  have to accept the ‘new us’ & stop waiting for the old us to come back. It’s a hard process mentally let alone physically. Life is getting brighter Thumbsup
