Hi all, I’ve been reading some posts and you are all so brave and helpful! I’m new here and just have a couple of questions if you wouldn’t mind. My dentist has referred me for a biopsy for mouth cancer but I do not know how long this will take or what expect. It’s a bit of a shock to the system. I’m a 33 year old smoker and have joined the nhs quit smoking and have joined this group so I can ask questions and quite honestly for someone to talk to as I don’t want to burden my family with it all as it’s all early stages at the moment and my brains had a flight reaction to the news! Any advice or information or previous experiences would be really kind of you. I’ve been online but I do find if you google symptoms you’re likely to be dying even if it’s just an ear ache! Many thanks in advance and best wishes for you all on your own journeys.
