Side effects Ribociclib

Hi, I started on Ribociclib last week and was told to take omeprozole 12 hrs apart from the Ribociclib as it can apparently restrict how much of the drug is absorbed.

Thank you for this info not heard of this.

I take Omeprezole twice a day morning and evening.

Many thanks for sharing your story. I'm just starting the treatment Ribo + Fulvestrant (this is my second week), and all the positive stories make me feel hopeful about Ribo. I took esomeprazole for 2 days and I'm also trying to eat food that doesn't upset my stomach, so porridge, bananas, veggie soups and eggs, etc. it seems to be working, the heartburn is almost gone, so I'm happy! Side effects come and go as you described.

I have just looked up drug interactions of omeprazole and Ribociclib  and it states there are none. I will defo ask my team next week.
