Hi, I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy on 4th august. Results are exactly the same as you however I have had a Oncotype Dx score of 25. I have an appointment to discuss on 13th Oct with the oncologist.

Can I ask what size yours was pls and your age I think this is what they use on the oncotype test. Your result seems high for a grade 2  I had 2 small areas totalling 21mm. Do you know your pr score mine was 7/8. Think this is used also xx

Hi I’m 55, pr 5/8 and my tumour was 19mm. I then had the Oncotype as my surgeon said my tumour was borderline for chemotherapy.

So far I know grade 2  2 small areas. I have had a theraputic mammoplasty, all removed, lymph node clear.  But unfortunately could not get clear margins.  So now having masectomy, not decided on which reconstruction  yet. I am hoping no radiotherapy is needed because my lymph nodes was clear. Just wondering if they will send for a oncotype type test. My er and pr are high so I was thinking chemo would not be beneficial. Don't know if I have got that right, I thought hormone meds would be more beneficial. Do you know xx

It was because of dcis, they could not get clear margins xx

Hi, bless you you been through so much! I have dcis and invasive Bc. Originally I was told I would need radiotherapy/hormonal therapy but now I may have to have chemotherapy/ radiotherapy and hormonal therapy. I think there are so many considerations and treatment seems to be different for each individual. So hopefully you won’t have to have chemotherapy. Take good care xx
