Hi. I was diagnosed with colon cancer in February and had a right hemi colectomy. I’m currently in week 11 of a 12 week cycle of chemotherapy. Since having treatment last week I have become extremely emotional. Is this normal when coming to the end of treatment?
I agree, people who really know what you have been through, really know what you have been through! Others don't and can't comprehend it, but just like keyhole surgery, your insides take longer to heal. Processing the enormity of what we have been through will take time and can't be rushed but you are amazing and every little win is to be celebrated.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
