Good morning, here.
This morning will see us well into our Boris Break, 3 glorious months, 12 weeks, 84 days, of self isolation confined to the house, no contact with the outside world, well not exactly thanks to this virtual technology we can speak to each other and share our tit bits in life.
What I have in mind with the start of this thread is to have an ongoing page for the duration of our Boris Break where we can come on here and
tell of some good news,
fume at the letter with bad news,
a new flower in the garden, anything that brought a smile to your face,
annoyed you,
made you to lose your temper,
the telephone call from a small child or a long lost friend.
Acknowledge an act of kindness you've received.
or the scam phone call telling you that your broadband is going down.
What you think about the hoarders, when you need some milk, bread and the essentials and can't get an online delivery slot.
Ask a question.
If you've something to share this is the place to bring it to.
I think - hope - that you can see where I'm going with this as an outlet to share a small bit of your day with the rest of us.
Not intended to be a discussion just a place where you come on to tell others that you're feeling good or you're feeling like sh** or cr## and want to get it off your chest. We may not like our Boris Break but we can make the time pass by posting our Tit Bits, on this page which I have headed up Our daily Boris Break Tit-Bits, so what about it, will you join by posting your daily, hourly events that have crossed your day and sharing the good and the not so good with each other.
Could I kick this off, just spotted on eBay Andrex Classic Clean Toilet Roll, 4 rolls - White for £12.50 plus £2.90 postage.
To make it easy I will refresh the page daily to bring it back to the top.
Looking forward to reading your stories, incidentally how many remember the weekly magazine printed on cheap paper until 1984 that was a mini encyclopedia of human interest stories.
How many of you will be enjoying your morning coffee the same as me at 11 am.

Instant Quiz Question
Which is the best biscuit to dunk in your morning coffee?
Hi Ian
Did I? Quite possibly, although I don’t remember. I’ll give it a go anyway.
Boris Johnson
Chancellor of the exchequer (god bless his cheque book and all who sail in her)
Home Secretary (ministerial code? What ministerial code?)
Health Secretary
Foreign Secretary
The rest of it I’d need to google and that’s cheating.
Hi Ellen
Of course you are welcome to contribute any chance you can persuade the rest of the admin to add something.
I intend to name drop members into the thread if I see something that is of interest that they have to say. Fellow champs included!
Thanks for your contribution, I'm sure you've got more.
Ian
So Boris has tested positive for Coronavirus.....
Wonder how many he has had close contact with over the last few days ?

Good morning all, end of first week of our Boris Break and your self isolation, no doubt that you are fed up with endless news programs that we are being subjected to, you just can't escape especially the unfortunate who are confined to 1 room so I ask how are you spending your time
If you're looking for something maybe just a little bit different can I suggest a little 10 min Gentle Chair yoga session that you can do on your own and stimulate your breathing, gently stretch a few muscles whilst improving your well being.
Let me know how you get on, maybe we can organise a virtual group session that we can all take part in, not just the ladies but we males as well.
Later on I hope to have few things I'd like to set up for tomorrow, check back later.
In the meantime keep safe, keep well and spread the love not the virus!

Well Ian today is a lazy duvet day so still in bed as I write this celebrating a week without any hospital appointments. My chemotherapy was stopped the beginning of the week and no other appointments this week so just enjoyed the great outdoors of the garden. Simple things like tidying the garden up and my bar have never seemed so therapeutic and a world away from my bowel cancer and now newly acquired 3rd nipple or ileostomy to others.
Stay safe everyone
Mark
How did everyone get in with the 10 min Gentle Chair yoga session did it make you feel good about yourself? now to finish off find yourself your quiet space maybe a bit of soothing medication for just after lunch (quickly skip the ads at the beginning)

Just in case anyone is thinking of activities to pass the time . Instagram and you tube can teach you how to paint . You don’t have to have a skill set and Amazon has basic watercolour sets , paper and brushes . You get a lot out the one pad and you can do it cheaply .
I tried it a year ago and find it helpful for escaping !
There are beginners lessons all over the internet.
Yesterday was a bit more challenging. Felt like a big wave .So I escaped !
