Hi everyone
I am currently just starting a 12 week isolated period due to being high risk as still receiving chemotherapy oh and my 3rd nipple (Ileostomy). In a previous discussion regarding Coronavirus and work it was suggested by Court maybe we could start a thread to help others during this stressful and lonely time. If either self isolating or dealing with a diagnosis of covid 19 or anything else at all. I am more than happy to use my 12 weeks in quarentine as such to try and help in anyway possible. Please please any suggestions or ideas where we can help eachother in any way shape or form.
Regards Mark
Got my ingredients sorted .
Big bake tomorrow.

Phew . I have to say I felt a bit emotional reading your news . It has been so sad hearing of your struggle to get basics . That is really wonderful !
The waste aspect is awful . My husband thinks butter beans will be found at the back of cupboards in years to come !
Hope it has helped ease things for you .
take care ,

Hi
Yes some people in London are really selfish I live and come from London and it feels to me like it's every body for themselves we don't have the community spirit like we ate seeing on the news, I have just been so grateful for the council food parcels !!
My brother has a bungalow by the coast and has been inundated with calls to stay there , he has refused because of the virus and they are not going down there themselves ,
Its just me and Hubby in our small flat he also has cancer and had a text today his next appointment has been cancelled it's getting very scary
I too have been painting too not brilliant but find it very calming
Stay safe
Lots of love

and
Have to say I am a wee bit proud of my bread !! First time ever . Half way through I thought I had successfully made a brick !! However it turned out well . Also discovered I have a proofing setting in my over ( had it for two years) and for the first time ever I used the twirling bits in my hand blender . Boys loved it . Definitely doing it again and it was actually really easy to do .
Going to try the rolls .
Any other suggestions very much welcome .

Peacock62 That’s quite astounding . Are they wanting a holiday or trying to escape ? Someone told me they think that’s partly how Spain’s spread got so bad due to people heading out of cities .
It is hard to process the extent of what is going on now . I am taking a lead out my mum’s book and staying busy and it’s so overwhelming. Thankfully managed to get my in-laws to stay in . Great gran is dying and the whole thing is just so difficult for them to visit .
How is everyone else passing the time ?
Take care ,

Well done you. I’m envious of your proofing oven...
I baked a loaf today for therapy and to eat with butter and jam... When you have no appetite it’s the small things that make a difference.
its addictive, I guarantee you’ll get hooked, practice makes perfect.
tip... I use my iPhone to set reminders so I don’t forget and over proof or cook. I tend to rest between stages and fall asleep
Oh I just popped back and changed my spelling . I have a bit of an auditory processing thing on the go and sometimes it shows . Ha !
I got a new kitchen two years ago . It’s not too big but credit to the man who installed it he made such good use of every available space and he suggested the oven . I have to say I love it but never used that function . I bake quite a lot . Big fan of Mary Berry . I used to be rubbish at it but decided to try again and now love it .
I most certainly will be keeping this up . What do you bake your rolls in/on ?
