Just a thought could it be a biopsy. I’m on a real low today sorry.

Sorry Faloola I did not notice this post . It may well be as there was talk of needing to know for sure the primary if I remember correctly.

So sorry you are feeling low but totally understandable. It’s such a shock to your system .

Hi Court , no problem. It was to discuss things and to advise me a biopsy needed to be done to see what they are dealing with. It was the original surgeon who did my resection in 2013. He said he’s not convinced it’s a recurrent bowel cancer with such a late presentation unless the cells have lay dormant and something has set them off. He thinks it could be a new cancer maybe a sarcoma.   So that’s where I am he can’t make a plan until he gets the results of the biopsy. He said their are two oncologists in the MDT.

That’s good to have two ! Hope they get the biopsy soon and get you a good plan .

I will go and read up on sarcomas to be a bit better informed .

Hi Court, he said he would be looking to shrink the two tumours the one on my hip and the one on my right and then surgery to remove them both then more treatment. He said it would be chemo or radiotherapy or both. He said he would hope the treatment would also shrink the 1.1cm nodule on my lung as it’s to small to remove but he thinks is malignant. And would just need to monitor. So long road ahead. 

A long road ahead but it’s always good to hear them mention surgery on the plan .
