Hi all,
my dad is in the high risk group and received a message from the NHS explaining that he will need to be in strict isolation for 12 weeks. It states he can “crack a window” but was wondering if anyone on here knew if he’d be allowed in the garden? Or would this be a step too far?
any help appreciated!
thank you :-)
where is your dad based?
We live in a village in Milton Keynes, we are lucky that we live somewhere that is quiet anyways, feels a lot safer!
Even although we are on the edge of Inverness we have the massive Culloden Forest 2 mins walk from our front door and can walk and see no one for an hour.
That sounds ideal in the current climate!
Hi ,
we are local then! I’m in NP!
Hope you stay safe, we’ve been gardening today (plus I cleaned some windows too!) as hubs and I are in the over 70’s and have health problems, he has diabetes I have asthma.
Hugs xxx
Moomy
Hi moomy,
ha! Omg how strange is that!
a lot of jobs are going to get done in this time away from society I think! At the moment, I’ve been watching a lot of Netflix haha, but ventured out for a walk in the sunshine on my own. I’m no longer living with my dad and have moved in with my boyfriend for the time being to shield him even more, and as I am young and healthy I will be the one delivering food to their doorsteps!
stay safe, sounds like you are being careful anyways xxx
