Is anyone else having trouble contacting their oncologistl. I rang yesterday and left a message but nobody got back to me and now ive had a text saying all appointments are cancelled. I dont know how quickly i need to start treatment before its too late to even try.
Hi , I do totally agree with you and I see myself as being one of the fortunate ones and I do apologise if I came across as anyway uncaring and inferring ‘just do this and it will be ok’...... but like most folks on this little Community - we are all talking/supporting from a point of vulnerability.
Even although I am in remission, I fully appreciate that my cancer is sitting dormant ready to show it’s ugly head again and even a very low hit of this virus will waken it up and then I have no other options to fall back on.
I have one friend who walked the same treatment journey as me over the past 6 years and they are now in intensive care due to catching the virus even although having been isolated for the past three weeks - uncertain times indeed.
I hope that the NHS doors will open in some way to allow you to get positive answers and a treatment plan put in place and started.
((hugs))
