Just wanted to share a bit of info regarding the excellent Macmillan toilet card.Â
It doesn't work in NatWest Bank! Â Their Company Policy does not allow anyone to even be escorted to the facilities, even with the Macmillan card. Arrived for a one-hour pre-scheduled appointment to discover I couldnt use their loo. Â What an appalling lack of consideration for their physically disadvantaged customers! Â I hope this post will help to prevent others getting caught out.Â
Ha ha thanks Greg! That's a good plan. Â One thing's for certain, unless we do something, things will not change.
A young friend has suggested I post something on NatWest Facebook page. And I now have the CEOs email address, but I'll see how brave I feel when I've slept on it. ( At least I managed to run to the local Mall, leaving my husband with their Financial Advisor. I got some funny looks, but didn't care by that point).i appreciate your support.
I had an appointment at a local Nat West branch a few months ago and it was quite a long one. Half way through I asked if I could use a toilet and was duly shown where it was (no Macmillan card involved). Â Pacca's experience could be a local decision based on the branch's facilities rather than "company policy".
Hi all,
I've passed this onto one of our teams who will be in touch with Natwest.
Best wishes
Jess
Hi GrandamaStar
Thank you!
Macmillan will kindly send you one for free! Â On their website, search "toilet card" and it takes you to an order form. Or I believe you can ring them and ask for one. They are so helpful and kind.
It's such a relief (pardon the pun) to have it, though this is the first time I have actually needed to use it as most places are considerate enough to help anyway. Good luck! Px
Hi Pacca!Â
Hi, you order them on here from macmillan, i looked it up yesterday and they are free, Â so i ordered one sally
Hi

Cancer treatment can affect bowel and bladder function. This toilet card and key ring is designed to give you urgent access to a toilet when out in public.
Thanks very much Ian.Â
I have now been able to order a card.Â
I currently do not have a Radar Key...I don't think I need one at the moment but will bear it in mind.Â
Hi Pacca,
I’m sorry to hear about your negative experience with RBS. Another member of our team has been in touch with them about your issue, which we are trying to resolve.
Would it be okay if you passed some more information onto us about the event, which we would then send to them?
For example:
• More details about what happened
• Which branch
• Which day
Send us an email on community@macmillan.org.uk
Best wishes
Benedict
