Hi all I saw my oncologist today and he said he wants to start me on Immunotherapy in the next two weeks  . He listed off a load of side effects and gave me some paperwork with a huge list of side effects. Has anyone had this treatment . Hope your all baring up , Thanks Regards Minmax

  • Sorry Son turned up, lol he has couple pints a night, that is going to hurt him lol.

He has to have his mask made, to be honest I think  he may struggle with treatment, so i am getting pre warned, its  coming up for his birthday, have to mask do with a cuppa.

I am glad i asked you, appreciated a lot.

  • Absolutely no problem whatsoever , Getting the mask made is just like a wet flannel on your face. Just tell him to take one day at a time. If I can help please ask. All the Best Minmax

  • Hi Kate Death and living is the choice and one can only hope the pain is temporary All the Best Regards Minmax

  • I had nivolumab immuno every four weeks from Dec 23-Dec 24. I had no side effects whatsoever and nine months of no progression of disease. Unfortunately my latest scan showed a new tumour so the nivo has been stopped. I’ve recently started a trial drug instead (AMIVANTAMAB) which (I think !) is another form of immunotherapy or similar.

  • Hi Mark I hope this new drug works it’s magic for you.
Why must they give these drugs such forgettable names!!!
