Well. Having just joined the group things have taken a downward turn!
On Thursday I went to the GP nurse, for my warfarin levels. I was , have been, feeling a bit breathless. Asked if I could see GP. Was seen and immediately sent to hospital. INR up to 7.3!
On arrival at hospital I was admitted through urgent care and on s ward within hours put on oxygen and given vitamin K to reduce INR levels and an x-ray which showed liquid in the right lung
Friday morning levels low enough for me to have a drainage....1 litre drained.... sent for biopsy....still on oxygen but I can breath
Tomorrow I have a scan. They suspect secondaries developing since last scan So I don't think I'll be in the group for long but I've always maintained a positive attitude and now is no different. Whatever tomorrow brings I'll deal with it in my own way. I'm fortunate here in Spain ,the care is high quality and quick. From GP to admission....four hours! I'm very comfortable with a little pain following procedure and on MST and IV paracetamol PRN.
Not much else to say really. I'll update tomorrow once I've seen oncologist
. Bit
Hi Dani, Thank you for letting me know. I am so glad like Chelle, she got home and had her family around her!
It is difficult being the one left behind but I hope you are alright!

Hi Annette
Thank you for your kind words.
Yours is a truly remarkable story.
It’s full of hope and wonder and has cheered me up no end.
I hope you keep well.
Thanks but it is probably much the same as others here. I keep meaning to sort out my profile page and make it more concise and update it properly. Sorry if you had to read it all, I just added bits as I went along. It needs summarised but I haven't had the time!
I'm too busy making the best of each and every day!

No Annette. Leave it as it is
it’s a diary of your journey. It’s a wonderfully inspiring read.
I keep meaning to sort out my profile page and make it more concise and update it properly.
Thanks Dani (Beesuit) Thanks you are very kind, but I'm not sure about that. Anyway, I've been thinking about doing it for years, so who's to say I'll ever get around to it!
Love Annette x
