Wound seems slow to heal.

I stupidly spilled hot coffee on my chest a while back and suffered a mild burn/scald.

I've been putting various coverings on it, as well as leaving it open and yet it's not healing at all.

And I feel like cr*p.

The accident happened nearly two weeks ago

A couple of days after it happened I had another cycle of treatment (pemetrexed plus pembromizulab)

Do you think this is affecting the healing?

Anybody had similar problems with things not healing?

I definitely agree that you should have it checked

However I did notice that whilst I was on treatment any scratches or anything like that were slower to heal than normal also my specialist nurse did warn about bruises and scratches appearing out of the blue and to let them know if that happened

Try not to eat anything high in sugar including drinks, our problem is our medication can affect suger

Hi Harebelle, since being on immunotherapy that helped make me diabetic I do find healing takes longer. Do get checked for diabetes, thirst and weeing alot were my signs. Take care xx
