Hi,
I mentioned my current scanxiety the other day, my oncologist phoned this lunchtime and I am still a Stable Mable
I mentioned some symptoms, but I am reasonably certain that they are due to anxiety related ibs, he asked me to call back if they don't settle in a week or two. So I am feeling positive.
So pleased for you, great news.
Hugs, Barb xx

I had a phone call from my consultant on Monday, I was expecting him to say 'stable disease' as he has for the last year, unfortunately there was a problem with my scan It reported some fluid at the site of the tumour so there was not a clear view.
He reviewed the scan with the senior consultant radiologist at the MDT yesterday, they decided that what had been reported as fluid was just the contrast medium showing up shiny! They say there is no change from the last scan, so after an anxious 24 hours I'm still in the Stable Mable club.
