I know there was a thread a while ago started by someone about reporting results, but the thread has dropped out of sight, So anyway, finally after 6 weeks I got my latest scan results yesterday. Generally looks like the current Eribulin treatment is working and is holding the liver and lung mets. There is a query over an area of bone, so I will go for a bone scan. But I am taking it as so far so good, and fingers crossed it keeps on doing its job. I actually managed both treatments last time, platelets held up for once. Due treatment 1 again today, and hopeful that platelets will allow treatment 2 next Friday to go ahead.
My hair is making a re-appearance too, which I wasnt sure was a good sign, but I am going to enjoy the thought of having very short hair again soon - just need to get the clippers out to make it look less fledgling down! Somehow very fine and thin hair makes me feel more vunerable and frail than none at all. I was out in the sun on Weds, and I notice I have a tan line which becomes obvious when I take my scarf off - be nice to have a tanned whole face.
So stablish mabelish here.
xx
That is very good news OBS, sounds very much like Stable Mabel to me. X
