Hi everyone
Well I'm up in the cancer unit of the Ulster hospital, waiting to see the doctor. I've checked in with the nurse, temperature, weight etc and I asked her what my last blood test results are.
I'm happy to say that I'm not neutropenic any more, my neutrophils were 0.74 six weeks ago and 1.0 for about 6 months. My neutrophils are 1.10 now so I'm well pleased. Yay hay!!
Thanks everyone for your kind words and support. You will never know how great it feels to have you behind me.

Hi
I really was prepared for bad news and was ready to begin a new course of treatment. My haemaglobin is low at 102, last time it was 114. I inject Aranesp every week to try to control my bone marrow's production of red cells and have done so now for 5 years. The doctor yesterday told me that Aranesp works only for 30 to 40% of people so I'm lucky with that for so long.
I wish I could give you some of my luck Tinalay and you could walk again.
Take care and stay safe Tinalay
