Hi everyone
Here's your new chat thread for April.
We're happy to start this for you, but anyone is welcome to start the thread if you get to it before we do
Hi Angie
So sorry to hear Lilly is not well. Poor wee soul. ‘Older’ cat can be more prone to kidney problems. Glad she is getting better. Did she manage to have her medication ok? We used to have liquid form for my parents’ cat. She quite likes it.
Winston is sending big hugs x
Hi everyone
Day out in London was fun and the weather was very nice at 26C. I had Japanese on a roof terrance and a non alcoholic cocktail. Don’t want to be drunk at my doctor’s appointment. The consultant seems upbeat. He referred me to an intervention radiologist for the ablation and said hopefully this is it! Just surveillance from now on. Can’t quite believe it as a few months ago, everything is looking rather bleak. One thing is for certain that there is no certainty in stage 4 cancer journey.
That’s great news Stella2020
Get it blasted and get it gone !! Sounds good to me x
Hope Lilly is feeling better soon Angie, sending her love. Good news Stella and your lunch looks delicious. Hope our favourite Buckeye is recovering every day x

Out shopping today and I saw this. I didn’t buy it but loved the words.

it says
Life is not about how fast you run, or how high you can climb. But how well you bounce.
love it.
Dear Friends,
thank you all so much for your messages about Lilly, It is very much appreciated. She is getting more like herself again I am glad to report. She had me worried for a bit to be honest. Eddie said to feed her a bit of Salmon and cooked chicken, which I have done. Hope she doesn’t get the idea this is going to be her daily food. Vet tomorrow for her check up. She is sending love to Winston and a gentle hug. Have a pleasant rest of the day everyone. Love and a hug from
Angie and Lilly xxx
Love that quote Chelle, thanks for sharing that photo on here!

It’s cute isn’t it. There was a set of 4 with quotes on each, Pooh, piglet, eeyore and tiger. I might just go back tomorrow, you never know they may find their way home with me.
Glad Lilly is feeling better. I think she deserves salmon and chicken every day. Winston is not interested in Salmon but loves chicken. Strange boy!
My consultant stated in his referral letter that I am a charming vet! So maybe I shall start on my new career soon after the lung nodules are blasted . Hope he is not going to ask me about his dog/ cat/ bird
.
How are you doing Stacy ? Is the last wound vac going to go soon? Are you allowed any food?
Susan I thought I was a bag lady with two stomas! You have completely surpassed me! I need to buy more handbags to compete. x
