As ever, in memory of Ellie. Everyone is welcome to chit chat, share experiences or recipes, whatever you need

  • Lee,

Eddie made this for you and asked me to pass it on. The first 3 knights of the Round Table JoyJoyJoy. Appropriate titles have to be found. Still having a chuckle here. Innocent fun, which brings a bit of hilarity to our ups and downs. Can’t go wrong with that. Big hug to all from

  • Sorry Lee, I never uploaded the photo.

    Enjoy GrinningThumbsupxx

  • Ha ha I knew my boys were clever, never realised just how clever they were Joy  Thank you Eddie and Angie xx

  • Come on Chelle what about little Alfie?

    Lee x

  • Alfie is more of a dominant dog. It’s his way or no way. He doesn’t take any notice of what I say, he’s the boss in this house, and you don’t mess with Alfie! He’s a real peaky blinder.

  • Chelle, that is just a hoot. We are having a new trend on here involving our furry companions. Love the picture ThumbsupThumbsup. Wishing you a nice afternoon and a hug to your little Alfie xx

  • Thank you all so much for all of the heartfelt replies to my post, as you all can imagine it was incredibly hard for me to share that with everyone. I'm just so overwhelmed by everything, and want my recovery to go by as fast as possible, but it seems like it's taking so long...

Angie, I love the quote on the plate you shared in your post, those are definitely words that I need to start telling my self daily. It's so easy to get completely lost and feel like you're at the mercy of everyone else. Our cancer battles change us in so many ways, both mentally and physically, and why does it always happen to the most caring and kind people. Not that I would ever wish my journey on anyone else, but it just never seems fair, and it makes my heart hurt to think about it.

Macy wanted to join the royal pets of the forum, although I don't have a clue what role she would be good at other than being completely spoiled like a princess. Maybe the title of royal gardener would be a good match for her, since she enjoys digging in the flower beds so much. I've been able to Facetime with her a few times, she misses me dearly as I miss her so much. My dad and her have been supervising the contractors that have been working on remodeling our house in a few areas to make things easier and more accessible for me for whenever I get to go home.

We have a lot of severe weather moving in later this evening, and oddly enough I enjoy watching the storms pass by, they seem to bring me peace.

  • Chelle,

I totally love the Peaky Blinder look! Maybe Macy would be better off being a wife or girlfriend to Alfie!

Unfortunately I have not wached the new movie yet, but mom and I want to watch it soon.

  • Stacy is must be so hard to be away from home and your lovely Macy. She’ll be happy to see you when you get home. I hope you like it, but I have dressed Macy as the princess that you say she is. Hope this makes you smile x
