Hi folks
I just thought I would set you up a new thread for February - in fond memory of Ellie
I'll close the January thread so you can continue chatting here.
Please do feel free to set up your own thread, but we can always do it if you prefer
Hi Tvman
I have to have 2 stoma but the new one - urostomy is not too bad at all. Just need to remember to empty it every 2 hours. I have a night bad so do not need to get up at night.
Glad your kitchen is nearly ready. It would be so nice when it is done x
Good evening to you all
Thanks for thinking about me. I am having a bit of a rough time at present. Looks like I am coming down with the flu, which I need like a bump on the head. Stella so glad thear you are doing okay and let your lovely nature and personality shine on this thread. TVman, my friend back in good old Ulster was saying they are up to their chins in mud too. I have been follo
ng the news and it is really shocking to see. Glad you and Mrs TVman are ok. Patrick, hopefully you and Mrs Patrick will soon have the joyful patter of little paws around you. Can’t wait to see a p
to of the little furry friend. Stacy, stay strong darling, you are in the corner of my heart which is reserved for this thread and it’s amazing collection of individuals. Have a lovely evening ever
ne and a good rest of the week. Might not post for a few days, depending how I am getting on. Love and a big hug to you all, sure you are glad it’s a virtual one so no issue with nasty germs
love from Angie and Lilly xxx
Thank you for the warm thoughts Angie, I greatly appreciate all the kind words I can get. I'm sorry you're coming down with the flu, it's so bad this winter, so many people we know have either already had it, or currently going through it. Get well soon!!
~Stacy
Hi Angie and Lilly, flu is not a welcome visitor when you're not at your best anyway. Keep warm, cosy and hydrated until you get over the worst of it.
As for the emojis, I find that if I write something on the long side then insert an emoji, my phone will interpret the command as "let's chuck some emojis into a few random spots". If I want to insert an emoji then I find it's best to insert it into a short message. One of the annoying quirks of the site although there aren't as many as there used to be.
Hope you feel better soon Angie. Hugs.
Tvman x

Flu is very nasty and hope you will feel better soon. Wrap up warm and rest plenty. Xx
