Hi everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for November. If you would like to catch up on October's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for: Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Good afternoon TVman,
I saw your forecast and it does not look impressive. Hope you didn’t sustain any water damage and that you and Mrs TVman are keeping fine. I have no plans of going anywhere this weekend, so will have a cosy couple of days at home with my furry companion. I shall wrap the last of my Christmas presents after lunch while Lilly is asleep. She is deadly with wrapping paper . Love from
Angie and Lilly xx
Good afternoon Angie and Lilly, temperature has dropped here too and plenty of rain, but we are used to that in wales. It gets quite windy here too as we are near the coast.
I hope your call with oncologist goes well.
Have a great weekend to you and Lilly and everyone on this journey.
Sharon xx
Good afternoon Angie and Lily
Hope you had a good conversation with the oncologist today and everything is stable.
Very organised for wrapping Christmas presents! I have not even started !
Very wet and dark here, hope the rain will stop soon xx
Hiya there, thanks for asking about the call. It was fine, huge relief that the tumours have not grown over the last 3 months
We are used to cold temperatures here in the north east of Scotland . I like the snow, but not on the road. I remember during the really bad winter of 2009/2010 we were stuck for nearly 3 days because the roads were so bad. Schools were all closed and the gritters were mostly employed to try and keep the main roads kind of clear. That was one of the worst winters I can remember. Hopefully it will not be a harsh one this winter. Did the severe weather with you have had an impact on your home or neighbours ? Have a cosy evening, love from
Angie and Lilly xx
Hiya Stella, good to hear from you. Yes it was a good conversation. Tumours have been stable the last 3 months. Stitches from my arm are coming out next Thursday and no other appointments in the near future. Not so far anyhow. How are you feeling after your chemo session ? Hope Winston is giving you a lot of cuddles. Lilly is in full winter mode, i,e sleeping , eating, playing a bit, napping a maybe 5 minutes max outside. She does love her comforts that one. I had my Christmas shopping finished a couple of weeks ago. Can now sit back and relax knowing all is sorted. My oldest girl went on holidays yesterday with 4 pals for 3 weeks. Singapore for a couple of days and on to Bali for 2 weeks and back to Singapore for a few days before retuning to London. Wish I was in her shoes.
Have a good weekend Stella and a hug from Lilly to Winston. Love
Angie and Lilly xxx
Good evening all
congratulations to Lee , Angie, and Patrick for good stable scan results Long may it continue.
I have not done much today. Made baked apples with marzipan and cranberry. But it is a bit too sharp for me. Craig was OK with it with vanilla ice cream. Roast chicken for dinner. X
Have a relaxing weekend

Hi Angie and Lilly, so pleased your call went well you must be so relieved. It is so stressful waiting for results and unfortunately for us on this journey we go through the cycle of tests and scans then waiting for results over and over.
Weather wise I have been lucky, just a lot of rain here in North Wales, but South Wales has not been so lucky and had some flooding.
I may not be around much this week, I have appointments most days, but I will pop on when I can.
