Hi everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for November. If you would like to catch up on October's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for: Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Good morning everyone, I am new to this group and while browsing the posts I found this thread and I think it is a great way of keeping up with eveyone's news and supporting each other.
My latest scans showed regrowth of tumour in my oesophagus and spread to lymph nodes. Because of my medical history I am unsuitable for surgery and too high risk for further chemo so now I am told my prognosis is months rather than years. Which is why I am so glad to have found this group with people in the same situation who can understand what I am going through.

Good afternoon Sharon, and a very warm welcome to our group, You could not find a better bunch of individuals than you find here. We are all on the same journey as you, with our ups and downs, hopes and fear and uncertainties. It is also a great place for some good old chit chats and banter. Sending to a big hug and love from

Lovely flowers Stella, get over your cold soon, Christmas markets are just around the corner

Hope you feel better soon Stella. Welcome to the group Sharon. I am glad I found it too, such lovely supportive people who all understand. How is your arm Angie? Are you going to any Christmas markets Patrick? We used to go the German Market in Birmingham every year, but it has got too expensive and far too busy now, so not much fun.

Hi everyone. Just to let you know that I have some news about our dear friend Ellie. She is having a few difficulties at the moment, so is having some respite care, so will not be on the forum for the time being. If I hear anymore I will let you all know.
Thanks for the update Chelle. I was afraid this might have been the reason for her not posting. Fingers crossed she will rally around again as she has done many times before. I shall keep her and her loved ones in my thoughts.
