Good morning all
Just setting up a new chat thread for July. If you would like to catch up on June's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Oh Ellie, you have been through the wars, haven't you? I'm totally taken aback at the attitude of the medical profession towards you yesterday and so glad that you stood your ground against them. Also, congratulations on your award. It's so thoroughly deserved. You are a friend to everyone here.
I've just returned from sunny and too hot at times Normandy to wet, cold and miserable Scotland. I think it's forgotten that it's July here and it's supposed to be summer. In France, I was glad of the air conditioning in the mobile homes. Here, I'm sitting with a blanket over me. I refuse to put the heating on in July.
Welcome to the new people on the forum. Congratulations tvman and you wife on your great news. Eddie, I bet young Mandy is keeping you on your toes. Isn't it funny how young children gravitate towards animals? She'll be running around with them soon. Congratulations also to all of you who have had successful scan results and operations.
I also received good results on my way home. The lesions on my lungs haven't grown any further, thank goodness, and the tumour on my womb continues to remain stable. So onwards I go until the next scan in a few months.
Helen
Oh Helen how lovely to see you, been a while, glad you had good results, lifts my spirits.
Been away lucky lady, i have always wanted to go to Nor way, he booked a cruise, got diagnosed and i lost him, if only it had happened good memorey. Though I do have plenty.
Have a good weekend, still warm here, need some rain, that for .sure xx
What a fantastic shade of purple Stella xx
Safe to say you've had better days Ellie. I really feel for you. You've been hospitalised and you're not fit to go anywhere so you're just right to vent your annoyance at them, they deserve all they get. If it was an elderly (sorry) relative of theirs how would they react?
Tvman x
Hi Helen, I'm glad to hear you had a lovely time in France, I hope your going to tell us a little bit about your holiday, and what good news to return with, stable table, is great, I'm so happy for you.
Awww Helen, Mandy is a little angel, an unbelievably good baby, the poor dogs days are numbered, she's going to catch them soon, , tomorrow we're taking her to the wildlife park, can't wait.
Keep warm and cosy my friend.
Eddie xx
ellie 73 I am so proud of you for standing your ground with the doctors ! It is an absolute disgrace that you should have to fight to get something you are entitled too and need! Makes me so angry that you are treated like that, I’m sure your family will be fuming as well! X
Leelaloo I hope the weather stays dry for your birthday on Sunday! Woke this morning to a much cooler day and drizzle, which for me is fine because we are going to Beaulieu in the New forest, and it means we can take Alfie the puppy with us.
I hope you get really spoiled for your 60th birthday! Xx
