Hi Angie, Yes those of us who have had a good marriage really appreciate it! There are so many people who instead of separating just stay where they are and go through the motions! What a waste, life is too short. I think Ellie & I were lucky enough to marry our soul mates in Tom & Vince. We celebrate our 54th Wedding anniversary in October,, how lucky am I!

Good evening everyone
It was a lovely, short and quiet, service for William, draped in his beloved Sunderland colours, and attended by maybe 40 family and friends, including Steve and I from the community, who Julie offered her heartfelt thanks to everyone for their lovely messages and support, over 4000, which shows how special our friend Ulls was right across the community
Ellie, Julie loved the teddy and message and knew all about mama bear and papa bear, and thanks you personally for your friendship.
Annette, I passed on your message to Steve, and along with everyone else who asked, your kind wishes to Julie.
Wind beneath your wings, was played at the service, which as some of you may remember, was the favourite song of another friend, Helen (NAN7), who we lost 19 months ago, and is the reason I joined the forum.
I hope you all remembered to raise a glass/cup at 1pm for our wonderful friend, who touched the hearts of so many of us.
Thank you Ulls.
love Eddie and family xx
Thanks Eddie and Steve, I am so pleased you both managed in person. I do remember you saying The Wind Beneath My Wings was sung at Helen’s service and now at Williams. It was also the song sung at my brother’s service. I cry as soon as it starts. I can imagine you do too Eddie!

Hi Annette, the tears do flow my friend, but nowadays for Helen, there for the many happy times she had in her life, but they will be sad ones for our friend Ulls for while.
We, our Emma, Amelia and I, met up at Seaham after going to the North Biddick Social club, they didn't come to the service, or reception for obvious reasons, but we went to Lickety Split for an ice cream and I told them a couple of funny stories about Ulls,
love Eddie and Sheila xx
Morning
That sog does make tears flow, played at my Dads as well.
Glad it went well an and you id a good job in representing us all, very much appreciated.
I did raise a glass I had shandy, and sat for a little while, remembering happy times, that we had on the group.
Thanks Again Eddiel.x
Hi Ellie & Eddie, Yes he will be remembered by the people he met on his journey. I did raise a cup of cappuccino in place of a glass but I’m sure no one would mind, Vince had coffee & we too sat remembering the good times. I’m pleased you had ur girls to meet up with afterwards Eddie. I’m sure that ice cream tasted good.
