Good morning all everyone,

Just setting up a new chat thread for May. If you would like to catch up on April's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.

The chit chat thread is for:

Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!

Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.

If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.

  • Morning Lee2, best wishes for your treatment tomorrow and your MRI Fingers crossedthey go as well as possible for you, I had my covid jab a few weeks ago, and it was sore for a few days but was fine afterwards.

  • Happy May everyone. Yes I am still here in the background reading the fast paced conversations  Rofl

I hope everyone is well. I notice a few are a little tired at the moment.  Have u all been over doing it in the sunshine or maybe treatments wearing u down.

The warmer weather is due back so time to relax and get all that good vitamin d.

I took a breather after a couple of feeds frightened me a little, not on this forum.  It came when i was due more results and big decisions.

I am now back to my old self. Even managed to do a tiny bit if spring cleaning while hubby is away climbing on Skye.

I most probably missed alot on conversations so any news just slip that nugget of gossip in..

Missed you all and hoping all is going well for all

Hugs and love as ever Smiley

  • Hello Fleabane, how lovely to see you posting. Grand you are feeling more at yourself again. Thank goodness it is getting a bit warmer here too. Roll on summer Thumbsup. I have to give myself a wee kick in the unmentionable to finish painting my garden fence. It is just too easy to say’s I’ll do it tomorrow and instead sit down and read with a cup of coffee and a biscuit (or 2). Shame the book lovers threat is not taking of as much as I thought it would do. I shall give it another week and see. Hope everybody is doing ok and results will be as positive as possible. Have a lovely day

    love Angie and Lilly xx

  • Hiya Angie..i hope u and Lilly are well.

Re the garden fence painting..I feel ur guilt  Rofl...I have my patio plants ti di but we had frosts this week which spurred me on to do indoor stuff. But the weekend looks nice so energybpermittibg..lol..

It took me 5 hours to clean my oven and hob...sound like it was filthy but it wasn't Rofl..I just need to rest often...my windows took 3 hours..but it did feel good after...

As for your book thread. I didn't put anything in there simply because I devour books..my mum was the same...we sort of scan read and many times I can't remember author or title ...I like crime thrillers but also fantasy...and I only read box sets..

Leave it up u never know...just trying an audio for when in the kitchen baking...

    Ty for your reply

    Hugest hugs

  • Hi Fleabane, it's lovely to hear from you again, and glad to hear your feeling ok again, after the difficult time you've recently been through, how is everyone doing, hubby's obviously doing well to be off climbing on Skye, a wonderful place, l hope your still tormenting him lol, and all your furry family are well too. I'm looking forward to seeing your fair Isle cardigan when it's finished.

  • Hi Fleabane, the forum never goes away, even if we dive down now and again for our own reasonsm Nice to see you posting anyway and I sincerely hope the results and decisions are out of the way now.

  • Morning  All

Here we go again, its Friday, not sure  where time is going to.

Going to be a nice weekend here, been really cold, last few nights.

Any appointments today, hope they are positive ones.

Just going for bloods tests and tomorrow CT Scan, what an  exciting life we lead.

Not sure what I would be doing, if I never had any.

    Have a good day.

  • Good morning

Lovely to hear from you Lee2 glad you are feeling better and hope your treatment went well. How are your dogs?

Craig is going away for a week to visit his friends in Europe, lucky him! My mum came to stay with me. We went to a very good garden centre yesterday which is more a proper nursery type. It has so many plants and they are such good value too. End up bought bedding plants for my two planter. Looking forward to seeing them bloom soon. The trouble is too many plants but no space for them Slight smile

Have a good weekend everyone xx

  • Good Morning All.

    What a lovely Morning.

Not been about couple of days, been really down, regarding news of Ulls.

    Onwards and  upwards.

Had  bloods Friday and Scan yesterday very exciting, the scan was the  quickest  one  I have ever had,  picked up at 2pm and walked threw my front door 2.45, no one else there, happy days.

Opened the shed, thinking might cut the grass, on the other hand I might not.

The sun is on the garden all day, we will see.

Hope every one is well and has some thing nice planned for today.

  • Hi Ellie, you have a nice relaxing day whatever you decide to do. Funny having a scan on a Saturday, unthinkable here except in an absolute emergency. We've been invited to a bbq later so lots of unhealthy food and drink for me.

    Have a great Sunday everyone.
