Good morning all everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for May. If you would like to catch up on April's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
LOL Yes stella they are lovely, my first choice white any flowers, thank you for posting.
Hi yes been nice here today and a slight breeze was pleasant.
Yes normally do go shopping on a Friday though my sister has been really poorly last four weeks, om hospital got home, district nurses though not aloud to drive.
So my shopping days were altered, though now I have an online account and did my shopping today for Tesco's, see can teach an old dog new tricks, would have been quicker walking round the shop lol.
I had to go to GP and get a urine sample tested, oh the joys of treatment
I have a brain scan tomorrow, so another trip out.
What medication are you on then?
Done no house work this week, can always do yay when it rains, so just been outside work which was nice just to get out side.
My son is coming Monday.
My age is , as old as my tongue though not as old as my teeth, love that saying right old one lol..
Hope you have some thing nice planned for the Bank Holiday.
I do have my moments, wanted to throw the towel in yesterday, my sister said do it, but remember you have loads in the cupboard get another one out, made me laugh.
its a hard road for anyone that is going threw this, i would just like a little break at times, get one thing sorted another comes along, like a bus.
,Hope your keeping good, and its onwards and upwards.
Have a good weekend.
Hi Ellie, sorry to hear about your sister, and hope she's being well looked after, it must be tough for her not being able to drive, though maybe she'll be back behind the wheel soon.
Well done you, shopping online, I had my car in for a service today, and the radio/sat-nav system was playing up, so asked them to look at it, I needed to press 4 buttons in order and sorted, it took me 6 goes to get it right lol.
GP for me as well, bloods, she thinks my vitamin B's low, and I have another hernia as well, but happy to monitor for now.
Ellie will that be a trip into London for the brain scan, my friend, on a Saturday too, I hope it goes as well as possible for you, and the travelling isn't too bad.
And why not make hay while the sun shines, plenty of grey days ahead for housework, maybe tidy up a little for your son visiting lol.
I'm on Xtandi and Leuperelin, for the cancer and a few other meds for some of my other issues.
I love that saying as well Ellie, and the fact every cell in the body is replaced every 10 years, so if someone says your childish, remind them your under 10 years old.
Eddie xx
Hi
No was at big hospital in London for op and radio, was asked do I want to keep going there for Brain MRI or pass me back to my oncologist, and get it done at my normal hospital, which is only 20mins away. Going to London can take two hours each way.
Though if I have another problem I will be back to London.
Not long in later.
Good Afternoon Every One
Pleasant day, not as hot, though nice.
Have been a little busy, me, myself and I.
