Good morning all everyone,

The chit chat thread is for:

Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.

If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.

  • I think there might have been a mistake in my logic there, clocks forward? Doesn't matter enjoy your wine whenever you want to

    Patrick xx

  • I  never noticed a mistake, so no problem. lol lol

  • Hi Ellie, sometimes you don't realise how rubbish your feeling until you have a good day, though hopefully there's many more to follow my friend, and it's the little things in life that matter most, and enjoy your well deserved XXL glass of wine lol.

I'm doing ok, my eldest daughter's and the kids mum Lesleys chemo, has finished , my daughter is clear and Lesleys, we hope has given her a chance.

How are your family doing Ellie?,  it's so much harder when it's family.

I hope to go to Ulls's cremation, and will be taking some flowers and a card from everyone on the forum, so any suggestions for which flowers to take and what messages to write on the card would be appreciated.

    love Eddie and Sheila xx

  • Hello Eddie, how about something like We all would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to you (Ulls wife’s name) and your family. Ulls has been very special and we will cherish his memory in a corner of our hearts.
    Any use ? Xxx

    Angie xx

  • Thanks, glad the family, are going in the right way, thats what we like to hear.

My brother is not bad, could be better, still cannot eat.

My daughter has PTS and Depression, never rains but it pours, all sent to try you,  though gets you down.

That would be lovely,  if you managed to get to Ulls cremation, wish it was near, but then again we are spread all over the country.

Though we forget when we are siting behind a lap top/computer.

Any flowers would be appreciated I am sure, on  behalf of the incurable group Lovely morning.

I would appreciate a message on my behalf, if you did not mind.

Good Night Pappa Bear, you will never walk alone Mamma Bear.

A group one, I cannot say for all the group, not my place to speak for others.

Though I think you as you may attend, should write one,  on every ones behave

We had been friends for over six years, and I was  all the messaging  every night after he went to hospice.

    I do   miss him  Sad.

  • Hi Lucy

Incredible, I love laburnums. Unfortunately I can't have one in my garden because I live in the countryside among the rolling drumlins of County Down and every part of a laburnum is poisonous. Eddie, don't ask me why I'm eating laburnum lol, it's just that there is livestock all around us and we can't be responsible for killing sheep or cattle.

    Love life and family.
  • Thanks Angie, that's a lovely start, I was hoping to add a couple of personal words from those who knew him most, and maybe find out his favourite flowers or whether a teddy bear would be better.

    love Eddie and Sheila xx

  • Of course Eddie, like Ellie who had been such a close friend with Ulls. Never presumed it would be a message from everyone. You mean getting him a teddy bear flower tribute and sharing the cost? Not a bad idea at all, or did you mean a stuffed one? Xx

    Angie xx

  • Hi Angie, hope your treatment went as planned. I never knew anyone a few months ago but now it has become hopelessly addictive. My quality of life is good at the moment, was terrible after radiotherapy and chemo, but my (reluctant) patience paid off. I am here because others have helped me be here - not imaginable a few years ago but a very valuable experience. Sorry about the emotions, I needed it and I know you know.

    Patrick xx

  • Patrick, I am so pleased,  you are in a better place.

Emotions are a huge part of this journey. I am glad you let some out.

As we say we are all here for each other, we can  laugh, rant,  scream and cry, we can  let it all out, and each and every one of us  have been there. x
