I spend a lot of time indoors, in front of the tv. I am a bit of a soap addict, with Eastenders being my favourite. But I am always looking for new things to watch, so thought I would start a thread to see what you have been watching, any good recommendations that might interest anyone.
Oooh , I’ll start that , thank you for the recommendation Chelle xx
I have just watched the 6 triple 8 on Netflix. A true story about a woman’s army corps in world war 2.
I'm watching Anneika on BBC with Nicola Walker. She leads a new unit in Glasgow called the Maritime Homicide Unit. Its like a less serious copy of Shetland. I saw it didnt have good reviews but i find it refreshing. Simple storylines short episodes nothing too difficult to get in with some poetry/history knowledge in between. I feel TV is over saturated with things to watch. If im not caught in the first 2 episodes i wont be able to watch it. I also love watching scottish actors its nice looking at old and new talent
We started watching that tonight, but realised this was a 2nd series and we haven’t watched the first. I found the first series on BBC iplayer, so will watch that first. It looks good, I like Nicola Walker she’s a great actress.
Well to be hones, i do not watch to much tv, though some thing caught my eyes ,t eye a few weeks ago.
Oh goodness Ellie, is that something you would try? Swim with dolphins yes, but sharks? No, not for me x
For those that enjoyed Yellowstone and 1883, I have just watched a series on Netflix called Godless. It stars the wonderful actress Michelle Dockery who also plays Lady Mary in Downton Abbey. Based in the 1880’s A ruthless outlaw terrorizes the West in search of a former member of his gang, who's found a new life in a small town which is dominated by woman after the men were killed in a mining incident.
Hi Chelle, I wonder if you have started to watch the first Series of Anneika yet. Watched the first episode but her constantly talking to the camera put me off it. However if the second series is based in Glasgow, I might give it another chance. Please let me know what you think of it!
Love Annette x
