I spend a lot of time indoors, in front of the tv. I am a bit of a soap addict, with Eastenders being my favourite. But I am always looking for new things to watch, so thought I would start a thread to see what you have been watching, any good recommendations that might interest anyone.
Hi Chelle & Minmax, Thanks for the information Chelle and the recommendation Minmax but we don’t have Netflix. We really don’t watch TV a lot but that will be different when Wimbledon starts! We tape what we want to see and only have the TV on for a bit at night!
Is there anyone else who likes to watch tennis. TBH I used to know almost all the players names but not anymore!
Love Annette x
Yes Eddie, The fun has gone out of tennis and there are very few ‘characters’ now. It is all about money which is why I don’t watch it all now. I do enjoy the Golf but hadn’t realised it started yesterday. Thanks!

Your welcome my friend, I'm hoping to see all the US open golf, before the British open golf starts on July 17th, at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland, I won't be going to Greece Annette, I was quite hopeful till today, never mind, I'll be able to plan other lovely things to do.
love Eddie and Sheila xx
Oh Eddie, I’m sorry to hear that but I know you are doing the right thing. Not just for you but for everyone! Hopefully Lesley will get a positive result soon and you can celebrate!
Love Annette x
I am sorry that you are not going to make Greece Eddie, like Annette says when Lesley gets her positive results you can celebrate. I don't watch the golf. Mr Lee and I are watching the Long Way Around, its great to see the countries that they travel through. It does have something to answer for though, one of the reasons Mr Lee bought a GS motorbike It has been fun to ride pillion though.

Absolutely Annette, I have a great affinity for tennis, golf and almost all sports. I remember watching Bjorn Borg, Ilie Nastasi, Boris Becker, Martina Navratilova, Chris Evert-Lloyd, Virginia Wade who all had style and panache. I watched them from the age of 12 and matches lasted a loooong time.
Nowadays the women hit the ball harder than the men used to do. I can remember serves swerving majestically whereas now some men can hit the ball so hard it's almost impossible to return.
Still watch it though
