This is all so fascinating. Nature is just wonderful. I normally buy honey from a local producer. They are so much nicer.
When I visited Slovenia years ago, a lot of people keep bees Bee  One can buy honey from all kinds of tastes.

  • Looks good Patrick, and well protected from the elements,  I feed my trees with a potassium rich feed and super phosphate.

  • Very nice Patrick, lovely to see new life.,  appearing.

  • Well, to be honest Eddie, I just fork out and transport them from the garden centre to the garden, my wife is responsible for feeding and nurturing, I just admire the things when they blossom and grow. Terrible I know...

  • Awww Patrick, have you ever been interested in gardening, your missing out my friend, but if the garden is your wife's pride and joy, maybe best to leave it to her,

  • Hi Lee2 sorry for the late reply I keep missing things. Yes the honey from the farm shop should be good, most farm shops have arrangements with local beekeepers to supply themHoney pot

hi again sorry, there are so many different honeys available and no 2 are the same all depends on what is available for the bees at the time, the weather and the time of year.

Last year my honey was all summer honey the year before it was spring honey.

  • I have made a first attempt to decorate a candle with lamb’s ear leaves. I love those leaves as they have such nice texture and colour. Shall lot the candle for tonight’s dinner

  • That looks lovely Stella, do the lamb's ear leaves have a fragrance?
