Lovely morning chit-chat thread January 2025

Good morning 

Nice to meet you. What breed of dog have you got? How many? I know someone has rabbits for shows. He has many of them!
I am feeling normal for a change today. So will make the best of it to go for a long walk. Try to think of making something nice for dinner too. 
It is sunny but cold here, my favourite winter days. 
Pet I would not like 40C. That is too hot for me. We used to go to South Africa in January. It was warm but not hot.

Morning Stella lovely to meet you too. Read your profile and am sorry to hear how much you have gone through but you sound like a resilient person! I have a miniature pinscher and have had the breed for over 25years. I only have one dog these days but he is great fun. I go to the shows mainly to catch up with fellow dog lovers, if I win it’s a bonus, we all take the best dog home with us! I have heard of rabbit shows but have no idea how many different breeds they have.I’m glad you’re feeling up to going for a walk, often a nice thing to do to blow away the cobwebs.Thinking of food can be a challenge at times, I might have chicken stir fry and noodles, not adventurous but I enjoy it. I will sign off for now and do some indoor jobs. Enjoy your day and stay positive 

I have received this beautiful vase for Christmas. Now have some nice flowers to go with it.

Hi Simon so pleased your home. Don't  over do it be kind tò yourself, if tired sleep hungry eat, you know what I mean. Me well busy bee this morning, been the hospital this morning, monthly bloods. Did a tesco shop, we changed the bed and the washing is on. We are not lifting  a finger this afternoon. Ray is going to watch a film, I'm going to read my book. XX

Hi Shazzy hope all goes well at the dog show. Snap we're having chicken stir fry with noodles as well. Lunch is chichen and salad wholemeal  wraps. You could say I'm having  a chicken day today    have a good day xx

Good afternoon Stella, a warm hello from a cold and snowy Moray. Got my two injections and my chemo tablets so another 3 weeks of tablets on the go again. Glad my daughter’s husband has a 4x4 or we would not have got out of here to get to Elgin. The roads were in a shocking state. More heavy snow to follow over the weekend. At present it’s -2 supposed to fall to between -7 to -9 overnight. Glad I have the multi fuel wood burner in the living room.  Lilly has gone under the blanket on the sofa for a cosy afternoon nap. Might just have a nap myself. Have a lovely rest of the day

Well People, it is only the 4th Jan and already this Chat is on page 9! Well seen the busy time is over. It is great to see all these posts!

Good morning Moi, I enjoy chicken however I ended up having macaroni cheese with garlic bread. I will enjoy the show tomorrow morning as long as the weather stays as it is, meant to be a high chance of snow so I will wait and see. Enjoy your day and stay positive 

Anyone expecting any snow tonight ? Think we will miss it here, but it’s very cold !
