  • 59 years old, I'm old enough to be your dad Eddie

  • Now Stella, Ellie doesn't need a toy boy she's got me.

  • Morning Lex, and a very belated, warm welcome to the forum from me, sadly the appointments are a necessary evil for us all, and I'm glad you had a friend for support yesterday, and I hope some good news comes from it.

Tiki, looks amazing for her age, we used to have cats when we were working all the time, all unwanted kittens or older ones and our last one Misty, made it to the grand old age of 23, which I hope Tiki surpasses, and you are still there for her.

PS, the new colonoscopy prep is a big improvement,  it's not nice, by any means.

    This was Misty at 21yo.

    Eddie xx

  • Morning Ulls, I  am an orphan, you could adopt me, and Ellie's after a toyboy, and I think she rather likes one of the guys who drives her to appointments, who is young enough to be my son,  so i will have to settle for being a friend

  • Annette,  I hope your sound asleep after recent events, you must be exhausted,

New prep compared to the old one is not too bad, you still need a "bloody ,"  good reason to take it.

    love Eddie xx

  • A friend is what I settled for year's ago with Ellie or Mama Bear,

  • And what a wonderful friend to have

  • She was the first person to communicate with me after my first post, been friend's since, many years.

  • I don't know why, but I  thought you started with the community on the prostate forum, I've only been on the community 16 months, but wish I'd joined at the beginning of my journey

  • Thanks  , Tiki is doing fantastically just now, 4 weekly jags for arthritis but otherwise healthy. Misty doesn't look at all old in her photo. 23years? Wow! We shall aim for that definitely.  Tiki was 7yo when she came to me, anxious-aggressive after being separated from her elderly male human. He had dementia so forgot meals, shut her in rooms etc etc. Not his fault at all but it left a mark on Tiki. Her fosterer was delighted when I showed up as having a younger owner meant she had more chance of not needing rehomed again in her lifetime. She's settled so well with me, we've been through a lot together, and we're a bonded pair now. I promised her a home for life and I'm determined that will still be the case. Sorry, thats quite an essay, I can talk about cats and Tiki all day long!!
