Lovely morning Chit-Chat thread - September 2024

Hello just wondering if anyone can help. When you go for travel insurance does anyone no If you need a fit to fly of consultant and size of cancer or what stage of  tumour or anything  for when you fill form in.ive never asked my consultant any of these i just no its incurable and im well past my sell by date. Im 60 in jan and would really love a nice holiday. Reading all different things and no idea what I need or don't need  I'm due at consultant next week so would like to take a list of insurance questions if anyone can think of any thankyou x

There is a forum on here you can join, specially for travel insurance! You'll probably find lots of experts on there who can tell you what you'll need.

Or you could 'ask the expert' for info, but it might take a couple of days to get an answer.

Where are you thinking of going?? Anywhere exciting?? Warm??

Oh thanks I'll have look. My son was saying Switzerland for few days sightseeing . I norm go on coach holidays on my own but you get fed up of going alone all the time x

Morning Everyone.

What a change in temperature, and we had had a little rain.

Glad i did four hours in the garden yesterday, did have a few breaks, though so pleased, with what i got done.

Been so humid and hot at times., could not face it..

Have   to get my son to put a new tv on wall, in kitchen for me, mine broke the other day, god i miss that more than the big one in lounge.

Nothing planned for today as yet,

Good morning Ellie I'm glad you had a good day in the garden. Had eye test yesterday wait for results in 2 weeks in a letter. Work man came and fixed the shower so a good day. Today my nephew is visiting for  catch up witch will be nice. Hope yoyr son gets that tv  on the wall soon for you. XX

Glad  eye test out the way, and a catch up, putting the world to right, thats what we do, when have company.

Lets put it like this, had a counsellor knock at door recently two hours later, think they where sorry they knocked at my house.

Morning Moi, I can’t believe the girl said that to you. What a first class idiot. I just had a slightly robust phone call with Hotpoint. Need a new washing machine and got it from Hotpoint direct since my daughter gets up to 45 per cent of with her blue light  card. Delivery was supposed to be around end of August but has now been delayed to the end of September. Oh well not much I can do when all is said and done. Just hope mine will last until then. Morning Kate, the concert was ever so good. We went to Eden Court in Inverness and had a lovely time. Nathan Carter was in tip top form as ever. Somebody even hurled a pair of knickers onto the stage . Well numpties apparently are alive and well out of their mind.
