Lovely Morning Chit-Chat-Thread - August 2024

Morning Everyone

Its Friday, where do the days go to, another nice day for here so they say.

Cannot remember the last time this area had rain, grass is like straw, every where so dusty and  dry, never mind once it starts does not stop.

Hope every one is well, and I know a few here are going for treatment today, another one under the belt.

Right shower time. 

That's my hope as well Ellie, I did too much yesterday, though my nose has just started bleeding, probably nothing. I hope your lad is recovering too, Onwards and Upwards, always, but just another hour in bed,

Yesterday I went into the bedroom, yes a long time since something,  was crawling on my bed, a red spider, never seen one before, though i did pick it up, and then put in garden.

Only gets one chance, comes back, watch out.

Morning Moi, best wishes with your scan today, will have everything crossed for good news.

Good morning everyone 

thank you again for your support. I decided to try to limit thinking about cancer to mid day only and that does help. Today Craig and I are going to a ‘meat / BBQ food festival’ in London with another couple. Weather looks promising for it. 
Hope everyone is having a relaxing day too.

Morning, sorry that did make me laugh, limit thinking, about c  to mid day, before you know one day  it will not even come to mind.

Gong out nice one, and the longer you are out, you will not think about anything else.

You have a real nice time, and just enjoy.

I am of shopping, with sister, and of course, treat my self.

Good morning Ellie and all, well I'm just hanging around the hospital for an hour. Had my bloods done , now waiting to go for my scan in an hour. Can't  go in the cafe as I have to fast, just have water every hour. Had a chat to a few people. I sent Ray to his brothers when he dropped  me off. I'm that used to doing it on my own, as started just before the lock down. I'm a wimp when he's with me ha ha. So sitting in a comfy chair messing with my phone. Enjoy shops Ellie. • Hi Ellie, I'm just back home, they couldn't use my port, it be wouldn't work the radio active stuff. So took 5 tries to get the cannula in. Normally I say that's enuff after 3 tries, but I just wanted it done with. I asked what if you can't  do it, she said you'd have to come back another day to see somebody who'll use an ultra sound to get the vain. Anyway all done. Enjoy your beef roll. Yum. XX
